Brass Rod/Tubes

Postby Rommel » Thursday 20th March, 2014 9:51 pm

Is there anywhere in Sheffield that sells brass rod or tubing suitable for 40K scale flagpoles?

Thought hobbycraft might, but i can't find any on their website. :|

I've got stuff like that from the hobby shop down near primark - the train one, used to be tags, in the square... I go there loads, why can't I remember the name? You know where I mean I'm sure.

How much do you need? I've got a little left over from doing something similar for the old space marine army.

I can never remember its name either, I think its Antics. Have you already tried emporium? They used to do a lot of that kind of thing as part of their Gale Force 9 range.

The pinning kits are ideal for making flag poles.

The model shop is indeed called Antics. If neither of them have them, there are a couple of modelling shops in Attercliffe, bit of a trek on the tram, but they do have plenty of space and a much bigger range of things.

There is a train hobby shop next to Hong Kong wok on London Road who does all that stuff for a good price

Good point, I've actually never been in there despite it being 5mins from my house...
