Victory At Sea

Postby noodle » Friday 15th November, 2013 5:44 pm

With the WWII campaign due to start in early December, I should be bringing Victory at sea and some ships on Sat... Hopefully will be able to have a game - maybe multi-person so we can try out the (simple) rules

For those interested in victory at sea:

The models we use are from Navwar. A starter pack is £12.50 and provides enough for a complete fleet and individual ships are around £1.25 for a battleship or 2 cruisers. You can buy little aircraft to make ordnance counters from or just use the cardboard counters that come with the rulebook (I probably have a load spare somewhere):

Full Catalogue:

Also, they have this handy reference especially for Victory at Sea telling you which models are best for which ships:

I'll be getting hold of the expansion and both Duncan and I have the core rulebook. The rules are very simple (and actually pretty similar to BFG in some ways).

I'll be expanding my Americans (and might be tempted to dabble in some other fleets too like the british or japanese), Duncan has Italians and Amercians and will be getting some british too.
40k: Tau (gothic, AI), Tyranids (NetEpic, gothic), Dark Angels
WFB: Skaven (uncharted seas)
Also Played: Warmachine/Hordes, Infinity, Flames of War
