First list has more firepower but is more fragile, personally I'd go with the second list for resilience and also wins are based on how much of your opponents fleet you killed, if the Falcon survives its a lot of points. If it dies you're screwed anyway.

Both lists will get torn apart by Tie swarms though, so be careful against them.

Got a few ideas floating around for lists.

Which is better?

Han in Falcon, Gunner Luke, Marksmen, 2 Rookie X-wings.

or

Han in a fully pimped Falcon and Wedge. Extra points on shields and shizzle.

You don't need Gunner and Luke in the first list as they both do the same thing, although Luke gets a free pseudo focus on his roll.

Have done the Han/Wedge list, is good fun.

My list was:

Han
Vet Instincts
Luke
Chewie
Millenium Falcon Name
Stealth Device

Wedge
Vet Instincts
R2D2
Shield Upgrade

If you can down a couple of Ties before they actually jump on you, then you might survive the swarm. But it takes a very good player to get a swarm to work.

That looks like a good list matt. Might steal some of those ideas ;)

When I said gunner luke, I meant crewman Luke. Not Luke and a gunner or Luke (x-wing). :P

Chewie looks like a good option as a crew member. Is PS 11 really worth the extra points?

Right o, thought it was a bit strange having both.

Chewie can definitely save you a few hits, especially when you use him to discard a 2 hit critical :D

Instincts is fun as it means you will always move last and fire first, even against Vader and other Han/Wedges. If you can find something better to spend the 2 points on then go for it.

Do people regularly play X-Wing? A friend picked it up and I am probably going to get into it too.

It's become a lot more popular over the last couple of months and I expect that popularity will continue into the new year.

Wonderful, do most people focus on a side or do they have both?

Most people have a good collection of both sides. I tend to play the good guys and Mattman tends to play the filthy rebel scum, but we have lots of the other sides too.

Indeed. It is handy having access to all the cards from all the ships, though in casual play we aren't to worried if you don't have copies of them.

Saw that earlier in the week. Seems sweet.
So hope they do a Rogue Squadron for the rebels at some point.
