Why's Elesh Norn so expensive? What decks use a 5WW creature?! And while we're at it, what's keeping the three Eldrazi legends price up? EDH? :?: :?: :?:

Elesh Norn is played in the new re-animator style decks that uses Unburial Rites, sometimes Esper colours, sometimes in a deck called Frites, which is 4/5 colour. He/she is also played in ramp and birthing pod decks. It isn't difficult to get a 7 drop into play in the current format (you quite often see turn 4 Primeval Titans). When she is in play she is good as she nearly almost Wraths the opponents side of the board and makes yours bigger.

Two of the Eldrazi are constantly played in EDH (Emrakul is banned) most decks that want to ramp or cheat fatties into play.
Emrakul has seen a lot of play in modern. He started off in Cloudpost decks that could ramp him out quickly, but when post was banned they switched to the Urza lands. He is also cheated into play using Through the Breach and Summoning Trap very often. Those types of decks are always packing four of him.

Thanks, I knew you'd have the answers! Do you think Elesh Norn is likely to come down in price when New Phyrexia rotates out of Standard?
