So I've been listening to podcasts over on to pass the time while I'm doing rote jobs.
So I've got a couple of recommendations for anyone who's interested.
is a podcast by a guy and his wife and mate about learning to improve their technical play. Stuff like priority, the stack, rules enforcement rules at tournaments etc. It starts off really simple, with him almost teaching his wife about magic as he goes along, but by the 3rd or 4th episode I was already learning one or two things, so I think it's worthwile. It's also really friendly and easy to follow.. makes for nice listening.
is maybe a more serious podcast. It's basically a bunch of guys on the PTQ circuit, talking about their tournament experiences and discussing the best decks to play at the moment. It's good to listen to if you're interested in keeping in touch with the latest technology or magic news. Good for helping you build a better deck for the next GPT or PTQ. Definitely worthwile listening if you're interested in attending some tournaments this year.
