Hmmm, seem to have posted twice there.

Attempting "hip and modern" and using my phone to post. Time to order that dialling wand!

For those interested 'Market Garden' & 'Bridge by Bridge' are out as a, I believe, limited pack of both books for £50 rrp.
I've forgotten the name of the fellow that wanted to do the British Paras and airlanding brigades, but they are all well defined in Market Garden.

As for Tommen and his Königstiger, there is a Schwere Panzerkompanie in Bridge by Bridge that is equipped completely with them.
Fielding up to 14 of them for 4835 points before support ;-)

Right, got my first block of Infantry through the post so would be looking for a training game on Saturday if possible to see how it all works (before ordering more stuff!).

How many points can you do and are you mid or late war? Should be able to do a training game (although I'm rusty and very much re-learning myself so expect much looking up of rules). I can also offer some advice you on what other things you might like to get.

I might lurk/watch over this game ^_^ I'm still not convinced I know any of the rules!

The Grey Wolf book is late war, so if you've got the Red Bear book they should blend in ok. Points wise can probably get up to 1000 (if I can borrow either a couple of tanks or some infantry) as there are a coule of lists I can choose from atm (which is one of the nice things I like about the army books). Won't be down until 2pm-ish though tomorrow.

Yeah, I have red bear (which is good because I don't actually have an up to date mid war book), also it'll be easier to write a small list in late war as I have more list options. I have some spare things you can borrow, so no problems there.

For those who might be interested I was in wargames emporium today and spotted that plastic soldier have released US Infantry and plastic half tracks to go with the shermans they've already released. Infantry wise I'd also recommend taking a look at peter pig (also available in emporium) who do some nice metal infantry at a decent price, or even just go for flames of war infantry which are fine if you don't need masses of them and come with nice bases.

Looks like Battlefront have finally got round to adding the Pacific theater to flames of war. The Japanese will be available soon.

Does anybody happen to be taking their FoW stuff down today? I'll probably be down at my usual time if anybody fancies a bash
