Aleph Sector Campaign 2014

So as we go into 2014 I'm looking to mix up the "sides" a bit using narrative. This will be good as it will allow more people to play each other for campaign objectives.

We have a lot of Imperial players, so a narrative will develop where some imperial forces "defect" to the alliance (chiefly allied to the Federacy). One of these forces will be my Librians (well, half of them (!)) as I will be able to ally my guard to my tau, have super heavies on 2 sides, and soon (ish) I'll have a space marine loyalist force anyway. Not sure if anyone else wants to join my Librians... Doubtful the space marines will and I would expect the Darantine and Novgorod regiments to stay loyal. But if anyone has likely motivations of their imperial side let me know.

In addition the alliance will become increasingly fractured as some eldar forces try to curb the tau expansion. This may lead to eldar vs. eldar at some point, but for now I suspect the disagreeing eldar forces will fight each other through their pawns...

So this should ensure a wider spread of possible campaign games. One thing I have noticed is a general lack of chaos now, with Tom's defection to the imperium! We need more chaos players! If we don't have very many at all, then I may consider the ork-chaos axis as a "side". <---- Aleph sector blog <---- Aleph sector fiction <---- WW2 campaign <---- Warhammer campaign

I've decided that I'm definitely going to do a chaos army, so I should be able to help out with that. (I may be getting people to help make it as broken as possible to make up for my appalling rolling)

I've split the thread. No more derailing, keep CSM comments to the other thread.
