New update, Tau smash Imperials on Tyranteous! Tyranteous now turns "yellow" on the map.

Tau advance on Tyranteous. Eldar intervention shocks Imperium
During early 10.013M42 the imperial position on Tyranteous went downhill rapidly. After a relatively static period the tau launched a new offensive utilising a number of battlegroups. Commander Windgather struck west, while in the east Dawn Stride prepared his forces to assault the Praetorian Wall, now defended by reinforcements brought by the influence of the sector commander, Titus Luthor...

Just because Duncan will moan if he doesn't know ;)

4000pts Epic

Salamanders (supported by a Legio Templar Warlord Titan) vs Khorne Horde

Atmospheric conditions caused both sides to withdraw from the the field of battle before it could be concluded.
(i.e. We had to pack up before we could finish, Dave was ahead 41 to 35 in VPs, but another turn could have seen the battle go either way.)

Aleph Sector campaign Roundup!

Alliance in Total War
Increasing violence in the Mabb Nebula began to snowball and escalate as 10_013M42 continued, with the Tau-Eldar alliance, now formally brokered, facing war on a number of fronts. From now on the eldar and tau would see their fate ever more closely interlinked, as what happened to one race deeply affected the other.
http://alephsector.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/alliance-in-total-war.html

Zadoc War Intensifies
During the second week of 10_013M42 the war for Zadoc intensified once more. The Iron Warriors were once again in action as a force of Space Marines and Adeptus Mechanicus troops landed on the southern shore of the now chaos controlled Vasto in order to put a stop to heretek activity. http://alephsector.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/zadoc-war-intensifies.html

Hylas - Long war continues
On Hylas as mid 10_013M42 approached, the ongoing war on Hylas continued to progress nearly four hundred days after the initial ork landings. By now a myriad of ork warlords had flocked to Uzfang's banner, and the imperium under General Van Dorn were struggling to contain the orks following recent defeats...

By the middle of 10.013M42 the Imperium was in serious trouble in the Zadoc subsector....

So in short... The Imperium are in a very bad way. Every imperial loss now counts trebble effectively... Orks are currently the strongest faction, but their unplanned attacks limit their impact.

The imperium need to come up with a way to restore their (woeful) modifiers, and start winning...

And me with my Sky Lords... when I get them painted (by someone else :D ) Until then I may bring my Librians down before too long.

In addition if the imperium would like to surrender Hylas (well what remains of it) and New Cerberex to Na'Porkleon, he will dedicate his orks to the Imperial cause :o

They are a thing! Each point of win gives your faction +X for X games on a world of your choice! Where X is the margin of win.

Blog updated with many posts! Maps etc to follow:

Tyranids appear on Bastien
If events in the Zadoc subsector weren't troubling enough for Titus Luthor, new Lord Governor of the sector, the news from Bastien that the tyranids had reached the upper perseus deepscame as a devastating blow. Although only a vanguard force, as the hive fleet had not been detected as yet, the confirmation that tyranids were present on the so recently won world was made following several mysterious slaughters in the northern continent.

Ork fleet arrives at Hylas
The war on Hylas had seen some advances by the imperium during 10.013M42. Following Na'Porkleon's destruction of West Coast and Birego, the Adeptus Mechanicus push south was further built on by the Crimson Fists, who with only a small force achieved victory over the orks north of Berkeley.

Battles in the deeps
The alliance's mixed fortunes in the Zadoc subsector were reflected in the Perseus Deeps with victory on Parataea but defeat on Ares.
http://alephsector.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/battles-in-deeps.html

Chaos take Sartignay on Zadoc
With the Iron Warriors landing on south east Foregia, the imperial forces remaining on Ascobabria now found themselves fighting a war on two fronts.
http://alephsector.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/chaos-take-sartignay-on-zadoc.html

Tau held on Tyranteous
Following their impressive southerly breakout the tau continued to advance as 10.013M42 progressed.
http://alephsector.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/tau-held-on-tyranteous.html

Parataea cleared of Necrons
Following on from the Rillietan victory on Parataea commander Shadowstrike arrived in late 10.013M42, adding more force to the alliance defences on Parataea.
http://alephsector.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/parataea-cleared-of-necrons.html

Ultramarines retake the Praetorian Line
The imperial response to the recent tau offensives was to immediately attempt to regain the Praetorian line.
http://alephsector.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/ultramarines-retake-praetorian-line.html

Iron Warriors encircle Imperium on Zadoc
Following the Arch Cleric's victory at Sartignay, the much anticipated follow up by the Iron Warriors came on 2110.013M42 with an obvious but none-the-less expected thrust south from Foregia towards the city of Gyent.

Also worth noting. Has a pretty cool space-shark special character, along with some bent stuff (that Red Scorpion psyker!)

Sure we'll see *someone* brave enough to run the Red Brethren.
