New blog updates now online. Mum's coming up this weekend so won't be around, however I will be the following week!

Imperial priorities:
---------------------------
Destruction of Nids on Betor - lets go for a "Rick first" approach if possible! One more 2 point win wipes the nids out in the North East... Then Comes Chris in the South...

For Scrowe/Rick to come in again they need 4 points for a new invasion, each. Next time it will be 5 - etc.

Also, they could attack from Chris's territory, but will lose it if they lose, so needs permission from Chris!
---------------------------
Defeating the Catechism & Dusk Raiders. If anyone sees Tom, defeat him please... Also beat Scrowe and take Merridale back. A good suggestion is to convince him that the Lash is cheesey and not necessary in defeating you...
---------------------------
Commander Fastblade is now re-thinking sending Tau forces to Betor, awaiting the outcome on Betor. Besides, being attacked by Eldar in the Shadow Worlds has made him think about staying there and holding the Tau possessions against any further incursions.
---------------------------
Tarsis Major - kinda stuck, but neither side is interested in a big offensive at present... Would like to do apocalypse Tau vs. Imperium at some point...

Also looking to do some planet strike games soon - this would work well, especially in the Shadow Worlds where the next games will really be planet strikes!

So in summary, the Imperial Plan is "to win lots and shit"? :D

If me or scrowe do end up needing to re-invade it might be fun to do it as a planetstrike mission. There is an issue with terrain though - we don't have space in the locker for planetstrike stuff which is extremely bulky and won't be used every week. I'm not clear on the modifiers on Bator though, I thought you'd need a 3 point win to get me off planet. We have +1 global modifier and I thought Imperium got +2 from Alphe and Fort Sparcos. Do modifiers tripple up as well? I was under the impression they didn't on Bator.

I hear my dark angels captured over 100 traitor marines. This equates to 3 captured marines for every loyalist marine that fought in the action. Imperial propoganda methinks ;)

Rick
40k: Tau (gothic, AI), Tyranids (NetEpic, gothic), Dark Angels
WFB: Skaven (uncharted seas)
Also Played: Warmachine/Hordes, Infinity, Flames of War

Possibly. I think you captured 100 prisoners, of which at least some were marines :D

We need a 3 point win to take your supply zone which is worth 9. No wait, we need 4 as its not surrounded. Bum. Mods are currently NOT +3 (no mods do not triple)

Latest news... Merridale recaptured after fierce fighting by the Librian Guard... Though we did have a Baneblade destroyed.

Right... I'm not here again this weekend so text/post any results...

As we don't have uni arms now I think until new term, I think I'll be arranging some games at mine on a 1 one 1 basis. I really want some gothic!

I've updated the blog - I've also done a summary so the campaign is ready for the new term...

Basically:

Orks vs. Imperium on Bothorion with a possible campaign on to Kallack.
Remaining Tyranids vs. Imperium on Betor - possibly planetary assault/gothic games to be had at some point.
Tarsis Major: The Imperium vs. Tau - modifiers currently +0!
Catechism vs. Imperium on Alphe.
Eldar at risk of invasion (the exodite worlds are "open" again)

Plenty of scope for new invasions, new odysseys - depending on what people want to do/what forces they have...

Am hankering for some gothic... Definitely against the Tyranids, but I'd also like to Vanquish Admiral Thok and I want a showdown with the Tau... As the Imperial fleet...

Don't worry Imperial commanders! The Corellian 18th Army Group is nearly assembled and painted! Once this hurdle has been overcome I will be faced with the next, winning a game of 40K. But yeah once I've got that mastered we will have the sector back under our command in no time at all.

Anyones thoughts on running the FW Armoured Company list for the campaign? Not that I would be able to field a pure armoured company at the moment, but I just want a general opinion if that would be possible (fun) in the near future. Anyway will be bringing down my 1K Guard Company (in its half painted state) when wargames get back up and running.

Also as another question, would it be possible to host a campaign wiki on the server? One where everyone's army/commander/planet could have a page that they could update?

Also up for some more Epic at some point if anyone wants to play. Maybe with less points as last time, as I remember it being "Epically" long.

Although I am abit sad that forge world has stopped selling some of its epic range, I was planning on getting a pair of Warhounds and a Shadowsword company. Hopefully they will make a new batch or GW will re-launch Epic.

Haha! I already have an alephsector wiki online, I just got overwhelmed by how much I'd have to put in there... May resurrect...

Now have 3000 pts Guard, 3000 pts Marines and 3000 pts Orks in epic (not really "painted"!) and 3 titans.

I think Epic works at 3000pts. The reason it took so long was because we didn't know what we were doing! Now I've re-read the rules and know even less... but faster!

Campaign blog is up to date. Working on a 40k campaign primer now for the new term.

Have you got the address for the wiki?

I have written some of my army fluff up but its too disorganised to write in a post, it would be good to have a page I could keep track of it all on.

Don't suppose you have predators, whirlwinds, terminators and/or thunderhawks to borrow for Epic? Might have a go at writing another list, 3000 points could be done. Terminators are too awesome not too take, but I only have enough to make 2 bases I think :(.

I can lend stuff for epic.

I'll try to find my wiki... Fluff I would like very much :)

Also I've updated the blog - with 1000+ words report on the latest (fun but ultimately frustrating!) fleet clash between Chaos and the Imperium!

Just got 3 baneblades off ebay for £8.50! In epic scale. Also got some griffons and another deathstrike missile, so now I have a complete deathstrike battery. Hopefully I will end up with a full Guard army, as at the moment it consists of a sole Deathstrike, which can't be fielded on its own apparantly.

Epic next week? I'll write up a 3000 point marine list if anyone is up for it. Would it be acceptable to play a marine army supported by deathstrikes and a super heavy armoured company (like would happen in a very large apocalypse game)? Doubt they will come in the post for next week, but would be fun.

I've also emailed Forge world asking where the Epic scale warhounds and super heavy varients have gone, as I was wanting to buy some. :(
