Warhammer World Trips in August

Postby Sam » Monday 15th July, 2013 11:24 am

Any interest for a Warhammer World trip this weekend?

Edit: changed to Saturday 20th only. I can no longer do sunday- I'd forgotten to reply to an invitation to something on sunday.

Blood Bowl is not a definite fixture (and besides it tends to be on a Saturday).

Can't make this weekend anyway, sorry.

Away this weekend, so no gaming for me.

I could be tempted if anyone was bringing Warhammer.

(Tom or Nik - practice games for teams? Anyone else fancy some ETC-hammer? Normal warhammer welcome too.)

It's looking a bit light on attendance so I haven't booked anything for this weekend.

It was a bit short notice. I will have a look at potential dates 2-3 weeks in advance and try again.

Seconded. I've been reading the new apocalypse book and it seems pretty cool. There's an event on the weekend 27th but might be able to get tables, no event on the weekend after that so may be easier.

I'll ring them tomorrow. Going with Saturday 3rd August? Or are there preferences for Sunday 4th?

I think Saturday is generally better. On Sunday it closes a bit earlier too (or at least it seemed to last time we were there).

EDIT: Yeah it's only open till 6 on Sunday.

Warhammer World totally booked out for Saturday 3rd August

Alternatives:

Sunday 4th: currently a big table available - but will be hard to do a big game and finish by 6:00pm

Saturday 10th: currently some tables available, including 4 Apocalypse tables (though I'm not available for that one  )

Saturday 17th: An event has been cancelled, many tables available.

24th/25th August: WW running their own Apocalypse doubles event - probably not a good date for us

So with a view to trying out Apocalypse in particular, but with availability for other games, please post interest below...

I would be most interested in the 10th, though have no interest in Apocalypse. Still, if people are going I may well be able to secure local opposition for WFB even if nobody from the club brings it due to all playing Apocalypse.

10th I'm on call, but I reckon I could come along. 17th I'm free, after then I'm probably away.

I have made reservations for Saturday 17th August:

2x standard tables (for non-Apoc. players, Fantasy etc... i could be quite tempted to resurrect my Lizardmen for that day :D )

1x Apocalypse table: Spyral Prime

However, if you have other preferences the following Apoc. tables are also available:

Fort Pain
Tau Research Base
Dheneb Capitalis

Please let me know soon!

*Edit: Failing any interest for fantasy I will happily play Apocalypse - wish I had time for both! :(
