Warhammer World Trips

Postby Sam » Tuesday 18th June, 2013 1:32 pm

In the past we've had a few threads/ discussions running concerning trips to Warhammer World. Given that this may happen a few times over the next couple of months I thought it might be useful to have a single rolling discussion here, with the latest proposed dates.

For me personally, this Saturday/ Sunday are both free, so I could do either of those.

But there was talk about another trip at the end of this month. I'm certainly up for it, but there is already an event running.

With that in mind, please post interest, date preference(s), game(s) preference and transport options/availability below for:

Saturday 22nd June
Sunday 23rd June

Saturday 29th June

Any takers? Please reply asap and I'll get on the telephone for bookings!

So to set thing off...

Name: Sam
Dates: Any of the above
Games: 1st choice 40K (Tau), could do Warhammer if sufficient interest
Transport?: Depends on whether I find somewhere to stay over the night before :?

Of the three options proposed, I'm only able to make the 23rd, and even then I might be doing something else, as yet to be confirmed.

Might be up for the 7th if I'm not paying the Six Nations(/ETC Warmup) players a visit, since they're in Sheffield on that weekend. (Sadly not about on the Saturday else I'd be playing).

More free after that, and really want some gaming.

(Anyone up for Outpost or the like in the week?)

I'm free on either the 29th or 30th.

The 7th Duncan won't be free, so ignore that ;)

Situation from WW:

3 tables left on Saturday 22nd (this sat). If there are 6 people wanting to go and cars let me know quick and I'll book or book them yourself!

NO tables on 29th/30th but some feature tables. 30th looks more likely but it would be big games...

Sat 6th July - 5 tables provisionally booked. I'll start a separate thread for that - clearly if no-one can go I'll un-book those.

Sat 22rd - free. *** edit - Internet is being set back up on this day. Might have to stay for that
Sun23rd - won't be free to go WHW, but could arrange to be free for some of it for either bloodbowl or x-wing.

Sat 29th - I will be going to x-wing tourney! (Should have enough stuff to make two competitive squadrons ;) )
Sunday 30th - maybe, depends on what is needed to do with Tom moving in.

40k tyranids
X-wing
Bloodbowl humans
Though this be madness, yet there is method in it.

Righty, meeting at Hicks at 10am this Saturday 22nd June for Warhammer World trip.

I'll be able to do transport - though I (and Duncan also, I understand) will need to leave about 5ish.

@ Death Guard: are you still ok to drive too..?

Based on response rate so far we might not have many people to take anway! Still, will meet at Hicks as arranged and see who turns up.
