I've arranged to play both NetEpic and Flames of War this weekend. Others should feel free to join the party :)
40k: Tau (gothic, AI), Tyranids (NetEpic, gothic), Dark Angels
WFB: Skaven (uncharted seas)
Also Played: Warmachine/Hordes, Infinity, Flames of War

Anyone mind if I watch their game of FoW and ask annoying questions?
(or even better teach me the rules).

I'm considering giving it a go.

Also I'll have X-wing if anyone wants a game (I can field imp or rebel up to 100pts -ish).

Sure, its kind of the idea right now to help people learn the rules and generate some interest ahead of the campaign so feel free to sit in and ask questions.

Might be up for x-wing if there is time (and an absence of biggs! :P) and my head isn't too scrambled from trying to learn multiple new rules sets :)

Um forget what I said, sorry I've just realised I won't be coming this Sat, it's the wife's birthday and we're visiting her family...

Another time then

I'm going to be bringing flames of war on Saturday! I apologise in advance for not knowing the rules!

It's my birthday next Saturday so the wife has been told I'm not visiting any relatives or doing any decorating and I'm just going to wargames all day.

Anyone want to play x-wing?

I have squadrons for both sides and should the second wave of released ships if amazon delivers them on time.

I'll continue my losing streak if no one else wants to play.

I have the second wave ships, so will bring mine down if yours haven't arrived.

Looks like I am able to pop across on Saturday (11th).
I will be bringing X-Wing and Epic with me if anyone fancies some games of either, might even throw Netrunner in the car if anyone wants to try the new LCG from FFG.

Matt, I've been wanting to try Netrunner for a while. It'd be good if you have time to show me the game.

Sweet, doesn't take long to play once you have a grasp of the rules and the rules have changed very little if you have played the original.

Hi!

I'm planning on bringing Dystopian Legions (Brits) on Saturday, anyone fancy teaching me the rules and having a game? I only have the starter boxset, so that's all I'll bring :) I'm at the Emporuim till 3.30, so will be arriving for a late game 4ish.

Also: NEWB question, are the rules in the boxset the full rules, or are there more?

I can bring my Brita down too, but would be best to play one of the other factions.

All the rules you need to play the starter box are in the box. Additional rules can be found online to expand your force and the games

Is the water at the students' union that bad? And after they stopped selling bottles in the shop... :p
And you don't remember what I said here, either, but it was pompous and stupid.
