Doh! Just realised I'm probably not around that weekend, sorry.

Boo hiss!

Just a reminder to anyone else. I will have Epic with me if anyone wants a game tomorrow after I have been to Triples.

Definitely 4000 pts fine or do you want to play a larger game?

4000pts is fine with me (still working off the rust and getting my head round the tweaks to the rules). Will have extra stuff with me if you want to go larger.

Thanks for the game Dave.
Had a cool game against the Orks on Saturday and it was a definite horde of Orks. My veterans didn't stand a chance in combat as they were easily brought down by weight of numbers, though they took their fair share with them. Luckily my titans had enough firepower to thin out the mobs (not counting the last turn with my Reaver who rolled around a dozen dice and only hit once, 4 shots at 3+, about 8 at 5+). If I hadn't broken the two mobs when I did I suspect the devastators wouldn't have been much longer for the world in the following turn and my land raiders were only a model off breaking. So although the VPs were 54-33 in my favour, the Orks weren't far off breaking my force as well.

Don't think I will squeeze any more games in before the wedding, but I will be looking for some games when I am free again in July/August.

Since giag and the newbies will have priority on the tables and space is likely to be limited I'd like to suggest people bring along uncharted seas, AI, gothic, warmachine/hordes and 40k kill teams this saturday. All these can be played on a 4'x4' area and many have quite quick turn around times, plus it will be great for demoing the full range of games we play.

Dear Minor Games players,

Does anyone with Space Hulk 3rd Edition want to bring it along and play one Saturday?

I have a copy but it is awkward to bring down... any particular reason you want to play?

I'd like to try the new rules, see if they're an improvement on the classic ones. 3rd edition seems to be rated better than the older editions, but I wonder how much of that is because it's the version most recently available.

For those that are interested, I will be bringing my newly purchased copies of Netrunner LCG and X-Wing over with me this Saturday (6th) if anyone fancies trying them out?
Might also see if I can squeeze my epic into the car if there is room, if anyone wants a game of that also.

Right, next Saturday I will be bringing GOTHIC - so anyone who wants to learn/have a game, bring it on! Might try to set up a gothic table around 11ish and rotate games on it all day. 1000 points standard (though I may play Chris at 1500).

Interested in starting the Gothic campaign and gathering renown/ship upgrades etc.

Although there seems to be WFB on this Saturday, and I will be bringing the 40k scenery for the society, I will have my Epic with me as well as Netrunner and X wing if anyone fancies any games.

Warhammer has a special adjunct to the campaign going on, but it's not like a campaign day or anything. Plenty if room for other stuff

9th Feb - I shall mostly be bringing:

EPIC
AI
(and 40K)

I also intend to start the FoW campaign after the Nationals...

Before the nationals I will need to practice BFG to remember the rules and playtest scenarios. More details to appear in this thread
